Here Are 3 Cybersecurity Projects You Can Do in a Weekend ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿ’ป

Get these technical cybersecurity projects on your resume

Here are 3 beginner cybersecurity projects that you can complete in a weekend ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿปโ€๐Ÿ’ป

The best way to get hands-on cybersecurity experience without a job is working on your own technical projects.

If you donโ€™t know where to start, here are a few I recommend that you can add onto your resume!

1. ๐Ÿ”ต Build your own SOC Home Lab:

By the end of this project, youโ€™ll have created your own home lab using open-source tools, perfect to add to anyoneโ€™s resume who wants to be an SOC Analyst.

2. ๐ŸŽฃ Build your own Secure Web App:

This is a great hands-on project to add to your resume especially if youโ€™re looking for a web security-focused project!

3. ๐Ÿž Run your first Vulnerability Scan:

This project is perfect for anyone looking to go into vulnerability management or anyone interested in pentesting.

And as an addition, I always recommend those breaking into cybersecurity to consider starting out in IT first since there are more entry-level IT jobs than entry-level cybersecurity jobs.

Best of luck to everyone leveling up their careers.

You got this!
